I've done this, it works. Improves pre-5000rpm performance. Also makes bike a little louder, and we all love that.

Let us know if you notice the change, i can power lift AT 5000rpm now as oppose to just over it.

i tried it today and i must have done it wrong cause i didnt feel or hear anything different. i just pulled the hose off and took it for a run, i didnt put a screw in the end or anything like that just to test it i didnt think i would need to . is that all you need to do or is there more to it

You NEED to plug the end bro. Its the seal that does the work. Plug it, ride it again and come back and see us. If you still think you got it wrong i can meet you somewhere and show you mine.

I just tried that mod and it made a huge difference.... I thought it had already been disabled when i got the pipe fitted wish i knew earlier. Now i have a bit more to play with thanks.
