What bike do you ride? : suzuki ls 650

PostSubject: suzuki LS 650   Thu Jul 03, 2008 5:02 pm

Gday, Im looking at getting a 1986 LS 650, It felt comfortable and full of style and it'll be my first bike which i'll clean up and polish until i'm finished my open licence rider training course at Toprider.
Does anyone know how reliable these bikes are? any helpfull tips on any problems they might have would be appreciated.

Thanks Steve

Hi Steve i would imagine that if you can buy one of these bikes and its still going after 22years its gunna be reliable. Any problems you might have will depend on how much use its had and if it has been well maintained.
Good luck and hope to see you on the road soon

its done 13000 something km's and looks to be in good condition , the only thing I may do if it doesnt polish up any better , is respray the tank.
The dealer just rang and its all going ahead, ill pick it up saturday.

13000ks is not very many for a bike that old, so that sounds OK. So how long till you get your licence?
