bleeding brakes

just wondering if anyone can help with some tips on bleeding the twin front brakes on my bike cause they just arn't coming along like they used to and i wanna try to do it myself before i take it to a bike shop

Apparentky u can get one of those self bleeders thingies from Super cheap, and do it urself that way.

Its pretty easy once you figure out the technique... a line wrench, and a 2nd set of hands.. if you want I can help you sort it out on Saturday at the tech session

Depends whether you want a full line bleed or just a bleed to stiffen up the brakes a bit. With a full fluid change you will have to bleed from the master cylinder first and then the calipers. Make sure you cover everything on the bike with rags when doing the master cylinder as you have to crack the bolt on the banjo joint to bleed. I have tried all other methods of tying down the brake lever overnight etc but this is the only way I can get a good bleed.

I use a power bleeder which basicly vaccums the fluid through the system, hit the button and keep master topped up Twisted Evil yes i am lazy.

i just got braided lines so im puttin them on so its a full fill up and bleed
